The Lamborghini 350 GT was the company’s first production car, introduced in 1964 as the refined evolution of the earlier 350 GTV prototype. Unlike the unfinished show car, the 350 GT was fully engineered for the road, powered by a 3.5-liter V12 designed by Giotto Bizzarrini and tuned for smooth grand touring performance. With its elegant aluminum body by Carrozzeria Touring and relatively limited production of just over 100 examples, the 350 GT marked the true beginning of Lamborghini as a serious competitor to Ferrari in the mid-1960s grand touring world.
