The Lamborghini Urraco Rally was an experimental competition-focused version of the Urraco developed around 1974 by test driver and engineer Bob Wallace. Based on the Urraco P250, it was part of Wallace’s series of unofficial high-performance projects aimed at exploring Lamborghini’s potential in motorsport.
The car was heavily modified with reduced weight, stripped interior, wider wheels, flared arches, and a more aggressive suspension setup. The 2.5-liter V8 was also tuned for improved performance, making it far more focused than the standard road-going Urraco. Despite its name, it was never entered in an official rally program and remained a one-off development car, similar in spirit to Wallace’s other experimental builds.
